START Annual Consortium Meeting (June 2025, Alkmaar, The Netherlands)
LPRC joined the START Annual Project Meeting, held in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, on the 17th and18 th June. The two-day event brought together the project partners to discuss project developments and define future steps.
During the two days, partners presented the technical and non-technical work of the several running work packages and tasks of the project. Topics included raw materials for thermoelectric modules, the development of the START TEG modules and business and exploitation activities for the future continuation of START efforts.
LPRC, as leader of Work Package 7 – Innovation and Exploitation Strategy, presented the state-of-the-art on the tasks related to the development and implementation of the exploitation strategy for START, with a strong emphasis on creating sustainability for the project results, and the mapping of a new innovation and commercial ecosystem. The LPRC team also hosted two workshops: the first, a roadmapping workshop, with the objective to define goals and align actions for the future; and the second, a workshop dedicated to the creation of a company, a means to keep the project results alive after the funding period. These activities will prove essential for meeting the objectives of Work Package 7 in designing and laying a path for future exploitation.
We would like to thank the RGS development partner for the organization of this excellent meeting.
