AIRSHIP 5th Consortium Meeting (May 2025, Tampere)

From May 27th to 29th, the AIRSHIP project held its 5th Consortium Meeting in Tampere, Finland, hosted by Tampere University. The event brought together all project partners to present updates, share progress, and outline next steps across their respective work packages towards the creation of autonomous flying ships for inter-island and inland waters transport.
A key highlight was a successful roadmapping workshop led by LPRC, which engaged participants both in person and online, fostering strategic dialogue and collaboration. The consortium also had the opportunity to visit the mechatronics facilities at Tredu and Tampere University, gaining valuable insights into local innovation and technical capabilities.
The meeting marked another important milestone in the AIRSHIP project’s journey toward advancing research and innovation.
